The Leadership Academy means to prepare experts who can help politicians and managers from local authorities improving their skills as leader. As a result, they will be able to lead theri local authorities towards higher level of innovation and effectiveness.

Given the importance of leadership in local government, the Centre of Expertise for local government reform of the Council of Europe, ENTO and the Training Center for local authorities of the Ticino Cantonal Government promote a 4 days workshop aimed at preparing trainers in the field o leadership skills.

24th Annual conference and General Assembly

The 24th Annual conference and General Assembly will take place on 3 – 4 November 2011 in Tbilisi (Georgia). The event is organised with the co-operation of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe and the international Association “Civitas Georgica”. The theme of the conference is “Healthy Public Organizations: innovative tools for citizen engagement and collaborative policy making in local governments”.
